CCS VFE Cards App [Free]
Current version: 1.031
Introduction
The CCS VFE Cards App is a special free version of the premium CCS Vision Pack App. The App provides a virtual set of CCS Cards for participants to use when connected to a CCS Cards Virtual Facilitation Environment session.
The App provides background information about how CCS Cards work, with some example topics, and how participants use the App to select and share their choices during a CCS Cards VFE session.
When connected to a CCS Cards VFE session, the CCS Cards choices and annotations participants make on their App can be shared with other participants in the session. This enables facilitators to deliver a virtual CCS Cards experience that works for both remote and in-room sessions.
An internet connection is required for the App to function.
1. Join a VFE Session
Join Session Screen
Click the big yellow "Join VFE" button on the Home screen, enter your name and a Session ID.
Enter a name and Session ID
Make sure you are connected to the internet.
Enter a first and last name and the Session ID provided by your VFE facilitator.
Click "JOIN"
If an active session with that Session ID is running, you will be joined to the session.
Click the green "Open Session Cards" button to commence. The session will open with the CCS Card pack chosen by your VFE facilitator.
Note: the virtual CCS Cards pack will be deactivated a short time after the facilitator has closed the VFE session.

2. Start Selecting Cards
Main Pack Screen
Swipe or click through the Main Pack to find cards that best represent your response using standard left and right swipes or buttons. Swiping expands the screen to maximise the image so you can focus clearly on the card. To return to the toolbar view at any time, simply tap the screen.
Home
Move back to the Home screen.
Show Next Card
Show the next card in the Main Pack. Equivalent to taking cards from the top of the pack. Note: tapping this button is the same as swiping from right-to-left.
Main Pack Progress Indicator
The circle indicator tracks your progress and direction through the pack. The top card in a pack will always show when the tick mark reaches the 12 o'clock position. The number in the centre indicates the number of cards remaining in the pack.
Touch the centre of the Progress Indicator anytime to jump straight back to the top of the Main Pack.
Show Previous Card
Show the previous card in the Main Pack. Equivalent to taking cards from the bottom of the pack. The toolbar remains visible. Note: tapping this button is the same as swiping from left-to-right.
Add To Selected Cards Pack
Add a card to your Selected Cards Pack. This is like making a little 'subpack' of cards that you will refine on the next screen. Double-tapping a card while in full screen mode will also add it to your selected pack. Note: you cannot add the top card of any pack to the Selected Cards Pack. The button will be disabled while this card is showing.
Goto Selected Cards Pack
Moves you to the Selected Cards Pack screen. The little number that apprears to the top left of the icon indicates how many cards you have selected. Note: you must have at least one card in your Selected Cards Pack to enable this button.

3. Refine Your Selection
Selected Cards Pack Screen
Swipe or click through the cards in your selected pack to refine your choices.

Return Card to Main Pack
If you decide that you no longer want a particular card, use this button to return it to the Main Pack (it will be placed on the bottom of the Main Pack — just before the main logo card).
Goto Layout and SHARE Screen
Moves you to the Layout Screen to SHARE to the VFE. If you have 10 cards or less in your Selected Cards Pack, this button will become active.
Why 10 cards or less?
An important part of any CCS process is to reduce your card choices to a consolidated set. The App allows a maximum of 10 cards to be selected before proceeding to the Layout Screen.

4. Order, Annotate and Share
Card Layout and Share Screen
Drag and drop your selected cards to further refine, order and add notes to each card. Once you are done, you can move to the Titles and Actions screen to save and share your vision.
Back to Selected Cards Pack

Return Card to Main Pack
Drag and release a card over this icon to return it to the Main Pack. Note: if you have added annotations to a card these will be deleted once it is returned to the Main Pack.
Share to VFE button
Refine your selection to 5 cards or less, optionally add annotations to your cards, then click this button to share your choices to the VFE session.
The Share to VFE button will remain white until you have 5 or less cards in your selection.
Reset button
Use the Reset button when you want to clear all your choices and annotations and start over.
Add Notes
Double-tap a card to first show it full screen and then to add notes about why you chose this card. A card that contains an annotation will have a small green icon in its bottom right corner.

Connecting your App to your desktop for sharing
While during a CCS VFE session, you will most often be sharing via the facilitator's VFE screen, you can share your virtual card choices by simply holding up your phone to your webcam. For a better experience, you can also easily display your mobile screen on your desktop and then share that screen on regular video conferencing platforms.
