Using the Display Menu functions
Display Menu functions affect all cards shown on a particular Board. Use this menu to flip cards face up and down, open and close card annotations, and show/hide card tags.
1. Flip Cards
> Flip Cards Face Down
Flips all participant’s cards face down on the currently selected Board. Useful for controlling the reveal of cards one by one as a participant shares their choices. Facilitators may like to use this function before zooming out to reveal the whole Participants Board.
> Flip Cards Face Up
Flips all participant’s cards face up on the currently selected Board. Face down cards can be individually flipped face up by Right-Clicking on them.
An individual participant’s cards can be flipped face up and down using the functions in the menu that is accessed by right-clicking on a participant’s icon in the bottom toolbar.
2. Annotations
Annotations are the comments participants optionally add to their card choices on the mobile App. Cards with an annotation have a green Annotation Tag in their bottom right corner. Annotations are not shown by default and can be opened and closed by the facilitator with the following Display Menu functions.
> Open Annotations
Opens all annotations for cards on the current Board.
> Close Annotations
Closes all annotations for cards on the current Board.
Individual annotations can be opened and closed by clicking on the green Annotation Tag in the right corner of a card. Note: if Tags are currently hidden (see below) you will need to show them again to be able to use this feature.
3. Card Tags
Card Tags show in the bottom corners of a card to indicate that a card has an annotation and/or that the card is included in the Collection.
> Show/Hide Tags
Toggles the visibility of card Tags. Used when a facilitator wishes to temporarily hide Tags so as not to interfere with the appearance of image cards on a Board.
